The first thing to remember is almost every woman is flattered to be asked out by another woman. (think if the role was reversed how nice it feels to be notice, even if you are not interested). SO asking another woman out makes the other woman feel good MOST of the time.
Keeping that in mind just go for it. Compliment things she CAN change or control. Clothing, hair cut or color, her jokes or her knowledge on a subject. This lets her know you are paying attention to things she has worked on (aesthetics, humor, learning etc). Then give her a small reason why you want to ask her out followed my a clear request to take her on a date as you hold some eye contact and smile.
You can say “I love how passionate you are about books, can I take you on a date so we can talk some more?” Or “Your jokes really make me laugh. Would you go out on a date with me this weekend?” Simple, clear and to the point.
Don’t be embarrassed by your lack of experience asking women out. You are definitely not alone. Everyone starts somewhere.
ghost files is just so compelling because sure it’s about ghosts. sure it’s about trying to find proofs and evidence and explore what’s there. sure it’s about theories and banter. but in the midst of all this there’s another story about standing in the middle of a dark room paralyzed with fear until a friendly face cracks a joke for you. until someone says sure I’ll scream at dust and argue this is all bullshit while you find your courage. I’ll make a silly fool of myself, take goofy selfies of us in haunted mirrors and I’ll hold your hand for something I don’t even believe in. I’ll mock the wind and taunt demons so it’s less scary. I’ll sit there in the dark with you just to make you laugh.

This is one of my favorite thing’s I’ve drawn this year! I had a cat convention and was working on a buncha cat merchandise, so I wanted a fur pattern for the cat that was really different from what I’d already done. Love how it turned out 😊
Here’s some history about gnomes! A gnome is a mythological creature and diminutive spirit in Renaissance magic and alchemy, first introduced by Paracelsus in the 16th century and later adopted by authors including those of modern fantasy literature. Typically small humanoids who live underground, their characteristics are reinterpreted to suit various storytellers and artists. Diminutive statues of gnomes introduced as lawn ornaments during the 19th century grew in popularity during the 20th century and came to be known as garden gnomes.
Personally, my favorite interpretation are from the books by Wil Huygen from 1970s. 😊
